David Lawrence Community Service  Award

DLCSA Ceremony 10-21-10    San Francisco, CA

The award recognizes individuals and groups throughout Kaiser Permanente who demonstrate extraordinary efforts to improve the health of our communities. These efforts may be completely voluntary, or they may be related to a person's job or a group's function within Kaiser Permanente.

Being selected as a David Lawrence winner is a very special distinction. This year, we received more than 180 individual and group nominations from all eight regions. The winners were selected by a Committee of the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals Boards of Directors after a rigorous screening process. Each winner is recognized with a $10,000 donation to designate to a nonprofit organization.

Please join me in honoring the work of these winners, who are making a difference in the lives of their communities and co-workers.
